Arrived at Phuket airport, we gathered some tour flyers. After we arrived, there’s a provider that offered us free sim card, but we have to top up by our self. We, as Indonesian who can’t leave without blackberry asked about the services. And it charged us only around 50 thousand rupiah for a week. Nice.

From Jakarta, We’ve already asked hotel to pick us at airport and they charged us 350 THB each. They picked us using Altis. We spent 30 minutes from The airport to Patong (our hotel – Hemingways - 188/17-20 Phangmuang Sai-Kor Phangmuang Sai Kor Road, Patong Beach 83150 Kathu 10 mins.

After we arrived at the hotel, We had contacted Miss Lada (Travel agent who we found from Female daily forum) and she came to our hotel to give explanation about our trip. We also paid for the tour that we had chosen before. This is the detail of the trip and its price:
1. Simon Cabaret VIP Seat + Transfer : THB 600
2. James Bond Island Trip by Speed Boat + Canoeing + Transfer + Lunch + Snack : THB 1200
3. Phi-Phi Island Trip by Speed Boat + Snorkeling (Equipment – not including the rubber shoes for swim) + Transfer + Lunch + Snack: THB 1100
4. Phuket Fantasea Show + Dinner + Transfer : THB 1900
5. Phuket City Tour : THB 1000
6. Elephant Tracking 30 Minutes + Picture : THB 700
So for instance, we spent THB 6500 equals to 1,950,000 rupiah for our whole trip. It is so cheap right. We have already gone to many places and only spend that little.
And all arrangement for the tour was done, we asked Miss Lada to show us the Jungceylon. And we found out it was close from our hotel. We went to Jungcylon to find something to eat. This Mall is huge; first we didn’t know that place was that huge. We found Pizza Hut, KFC, etc. It looks like Citos – Cilandak Town Square, there are many nice restaurants. But we decided to have dinner at MCD (THB 100). Our stomachs were already full and ready to sleep. And we went back to hotel to have a good sleep. This was where we sleep.

Day 2 – Thursday 24th March:
We had breakfast early morning, around 7am. We ate 2 eggs and 2 slices of bread + Juice. Now, We already had the energy to explore Jungceylon. We went there the first time, and we have to find or figure it our own way about the places.
I know that we can buy cheap stuff there, many people said that there’s a place that sell souvenirs. We went round and round and we cannot find it. So we asked people there. The place called Thai Siam, it is at the basement of the mall.
I bought hat (THB 140), dress (THB 300), t-shirt (THB 250), and sarong (THB 150). We ate at the food court of Thai Siam, I chose Tom Yam, Mineral Water and Sweet banana (THB 150). After exploring the mall, that in my opinion has a very large area and consist of few building, it was confusing but it has many stuff and brands. In our way back to hotel, we saw a woman sell pancake, I got curious about what kind of pancake that she sells. So I bought Banana pancake (THB 40).

We got back to hotel to clean up ourselves and prepare for Simon Cabaret show. We picked by the Simon Cabaret car at 6pm. The show starts around 7-7.30 am. It was hilarious show. The Lady boys are so pretty and elegant. This is a recommended show that you all have to watch. But if you afraid of lady boy, I suggest don’t take the VIP Seat. There’s a moment where the lady boy comes to the audience. So be aware! After the show, we got the chance to take a picture with the lady boy. They were already waiting for us. But, there’s nothing free. We have to pay THB 40 for each lady boy (I picked two lady boys - THB 80).

We went back to hotel and had dinner near the hotel. I had fried rice and a juice that cost me THB 220. Total money spent day 2 was THB 1330. We had a very fun night. Now it’s time to sleep to prepare for tomorrow. Beach Time!!!
